Mortlach 20YO Cowies Blue Seal 2.81 Distilled Single Malt Scotch Whisky is een oude Speyside single malt afkomstig van de nieuwe Mortlach-reeks, gelanceerd in 2018.
Mortlach staat bekend als 'the Beast of Dufftown' en wordt 2,81 keer gedistilleerd in een ingewik-keld proces dat simpelweg 'The Way' wordt genoemd. Deze single malt wordt 'Cowie's Blue Seal' genoemd als eerbetoon aan een van de originele Mortlach-bottelingen uit 1909.
De whisky heeft uitsluitend gerijpt in ex-sherryvaten en gebotteld, waardoor er wasachtige tonen van overrijp fruit, eiken en houtkruid ontstaan.
